Funerals And Memorials

Funerals are as much for the living as for the deceased person. A funeral and/or memorial service for a loved one is an important part of the grieving process. It provides an opportunity for loved ones and friends to say goodbye as well a chance to move through the grief process.

As your Life-Cycle Celebrant© I will work directly with the funeral director on the arrangements and elements of the service. I am dedicated to the concept of providing a memorial service or tribute that is personalized and individualized. I will meet with the family to offer guidance and consulting while planning the ceremony. Religious, non-religious, spiritual or secular, there is no prescribed formula for the ceremony. Whether you envision a traditional funeral or a New Orleans style going home service, together we will create a tribute that is as creative and unique as your loved one.

Fee  includes:
• In person consultation and planning session
• Research and resource materials
• Composing and officiating at ceremony
• Travel expenses ( up to 20 miles)

Ceremonies may be conducted as an individual nears the end of life providing an opportunity for friends and families to gather and celebrate the life of their loved one.
